Who are we?

Learn who we are?

ornament1 We are a student group at the University of Michigan that is dedicated to sharing the Word of God and the good news of the imminent return of Christ. We believe that as Christian students, it is our responsibility to do our best for the glory of God in everything we do.

Our vision

ornament1To prepare secular university campuses for the imminent return of Christ.

Our history

ornament1In 1998, an Adventist student walking across the University of Michigan campus overheard a conversation between two other students. Their conversation may be summarized by the question, “What church do you go to?” and the reply, “I’m a Seventh-day Adventist”.

What we do?

ornament1We are an active student group that engages in spiritual and physical activities that promote the holistic well being of each student. There are Bible study groups, church services, exercise activities and general fellowship events on and near campus.

"I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess." Martin Luther

"The greatest want of the world is the want of men-- men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall." Ellen G. White

"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." C.S. Lewis
